This is for patients who may have unstable periodontal health and may need use of the PerioFlow or it may be there is a lot of heavy and stubborn calculus or staining. We may need to go into oral hygiene instruction in more detail and need the additional time.

This is for patients who require extensive cleaning and oral hygiene instruction as well as detailed periodontal measurements. This is destined to either remove the need to have periodontal treatment by overhauling oral hygiene or set you up for successful periodontal treatment by reducing your bacteria count and improving your oral hygiene.

This appointment is for new patients that haven't seen me before. I will take a detailed assessment of your gums, note any tooth wear, recession or high risk areas. I will then also do a full GBT treatment with stain removal. Sometimes I will require you to come back to see me again if there is more to be done. I will also create a treatment plan if needed. 

If suitable for treatment and go ahead the £50 will be put towards treatment. 

Designed to stabilise active periodontal disease this treatment involves full mouth x-rays where needed, periodontal measurements, deep bacterial cleaning and local anaesthetic if needed.

If at any point I believe your periodontal health is too advanced or too high risk to delay in more invasive treatment I will refer you to a periodontist locally to help you further.

Where decay has happened it will need to be removed and filled with Composite to stop further damage to your tooth.
